DR AMRIT GOYAL

Dr Amrit Goyal is a senior orthopaedic surgeon with over 12 years of rich clinical experience. He specialises in hip and knee replacement and is also proficient in doing arthroscopic procedures and complex trauma around hip and knee joints.

He passed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi with distinctions and gold medal. After completion of his postgraduation from safdarjung hospital he went for advanced training in joint replacement to USA. He did one year ACGME accredited fellowship in joint replacement with Dr Ranawat group at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.  He also worked as a clinical assistant at the prestigious center for hip and knee replacement at Columbia university, New York after his fellowship for another year. After coming back to India Dr Goyal joined as a faculty in orthopaedic department in medical college in his hometown Agra. He later joined as Associate Prof & Head, Dept of orthopaedics  Govt Medical College Saharanpur.

He has published several papers in national and international journals and also contributed book chapters on hip and knee replacement. He has also been invited as faculty in various joint replacement workshops and conferences. Dr Goyal is also actively involved with research, teaching medical students  and training of postgraduate students.

“PATIENT FIRST” and pursuit of excellence in joint surgery has always been the philosophy of his practice. He is an accomplished surgeon and has performed several hip and knee replacement including complex primary and revision surgery. His technical expertise in surgical procedures & Attention to detail has provided his patients good and reproducible surgical outcomes and also longevity of joint replacements. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and RTTS (reduced tissue trauma surgery) technique which helps his patients in getting early recovery with minimal pain.

He has published several papers in national and international journals and also contributed book chapters on hip and knee replacement. He has also been invited as faculty in various joint replacement workshops and conferences. Dr Goyal is also actively involved with research, teaching medical students  and training of postgraduate students.
